Bangkok United have announced the signing of Nigerian born Bahrain international Jaycee John Okwunwanne. The 33 year old rejoins a year away from the club having first played for Air Force United FC and then FELDA United FC of the Malaysian Super League.
The striker was somewhat of a cult figure in his fist spell at the club having joined from Qatari side Al-Mesaimeer SC in 2015. Jaycee John would go on to score 33 goals in 48 appearances over 3 seasons for Bangkok United.
With the departure of Teeratep Winothai to Chonburi FC on loan, Bangkok United are in need of a back up striker to help support Nelson Bonilla for the rest of the campaign as the club push for their first league title. Jaycee John would seem like the perfect player for this task as he is a seasoned veteran who nows how to score and knows the league very well.
