Thai League champions have boosted their squad with the signing of Brazilian winger Mailson.
The 26 year old spent last season playing back in Brazil in Serie B for Clube de Regatas Brasil at the start of the year only making 3 appearances before moving to Vila Nova Futebol Clube of the same league at the latter part of the year. Mailson featured more often for Vila Nova playing 17 games but was unable to find the net or help his club avoid relegation to Serie C.
Mailson will likely take the place of compatriot William Henrique who looks to be leaving the club. Chiangrai United will look to Mailson to had flair and creativity on the wing as they look to retain their Thai League crown as well as make an impact AFC Champions League.
