PTT Rayong has announced the signing of Jay Emmanuel-Thomas for the upcoming Thai League 1 season. The former Arsenal youth product has been without a club since leaving Queens Park Rangers in the summer.
The 28-year old who can operate as a striker or winger will add vital firepower to PPT Rayong attack as the newly promoted club look to avoid relegation. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas joins Ariel Rodríguez and Victor Cardozo has the clubs new signings filling up their foreign player quota.
Jay Emmanuel-Thomas came through the youth ranks at Arsenal receiving notable success winning the 2008-2009 FA youth cup with a team featuring Jack Wilshere and Francis Coquelin. Since then Emmanuel-Thomas has gone on to play for Ipswich Town, Bristol City and QPR.
