Sukhothai FC have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of El Salvadorian striker Irvin Herrera from Alianza FC.
Irvin Herrera played 15 games for Alianza FC last season scoring 3 goals. Prior to this Herrera had spent time playing in the US, making appearances for Saint Louis FC and New York Cosmos.
It seems that Sukhothai FC have some sort of scouting system in place as they were the club to have brought Nelson Bonilla over to the Thai League. Since then Bonilla has gone on to earn a big move to Bangkok United where he has continued his success.
Sukhothai FC had to do some squad adjustments to make room for Irvin Herrera. The club have released Montenegrin striker Petar Orlandić and have allowed Malaysian midfielder Curran Ferns to join Australian side Port Melbourne SC. This has freed some a couple of international spaces of the Sukhothai FC squad meaning Irvin Herrera was able to sign.
