Muangthong United have continued their spending spree with the signing of Brazilian Bruno Gallo from Portuguese side second division G.D. Chaves. The midfielder has been brought in along with the other players in a bid to help the club avoid relegation.
Bruno Gallo is an experienced midfielder who came through the academy of CR Vasco da Gama, before embarking on a career in Europe. Having joined Portuguese side Vitória FC, spending 3 seasons there, he moved to C.S. Marítimo in 2014 where he had arguably his best season in football playing 33 games and scoring 7 goals. Since then he has had spells back in Brazil, Qatar and Portugal before now taking up the opportunity to play for one of Thailand’s biggest clubs.
Bruno Gallo joins a contingent of Brazilians which are long time Muangthong United player Heberty, and newly sided striker Derley. It will be interesting to see if these three can gel and fire Muangthong United to safety.
