Muangthong United look to try and turn their season around with the double signing of Derley and Daisuke Sato.
Derley is a 31-year old Brazilian striker who has spent most of his career playing in Portugal. He has played for the likes of S.L. Benfica, C.S. Marítimo and C.D. Aves in Portugal while also having spells in Turkey and Mexico.
These signings look to fill the gaps in the squad which has contributed to the poor run Muangthing United has seen this season. Muangthong United have lacked goals this season with both Teerasil Dangda and Adisak Kraisorn being unfit and off form this season. Heberty has had to do it all alone so far this season, so Derley has come in to help relieve the pressure and score some important goals.
While Daisuke Sato is a left back from the Philippines who last payed for Sepsi OSK Sfântu Gheorghe in the Romanian Liga1. The 24 year old has been capped 44 times for his national side where he has scored 3 goals. Daisuke Sato will help fill the void of Theerathon Bunmathan who has never really been replaced.
