PT Prachuap FC have announced the addition of Brazilian forward Mauro Job Pontes Júnior to their squad.
The 29 year old joins from Brazilian lower league side Associação Ferroviária de Esportes. Prior to this Maurinho has had some experience playing in Asia, spending two seasons in the K-League with Jeonnam Dragons and FC Seoul in 2016 and 2017 respectively. However, Maurinho never really made much of an impression at either side and soon returned to his homeland.
PT Prachuap FC is providing Maurinho with a new opportunity to play in Asia. The club are looking for Maurinho to fill the void left by recent departures to their forward line. Caion’s good form saw him earn a move to Chonburi FC while Matheus Alves was released from his contract.
