Thitipan Puangchan has become the latest Thai footballer to ply their trade in Japan after sealing a season long loan to newly promoted J League side Oita Trinita.
The 25-year-old Thai International joins from recently relegated BG Pathum United, previously known as Bangkok Glass FC. The box to box midfielder will be able to showcase his work rate and creative ability for his new club as they look stabilise their position is the J League.
Even though Thitipan Puangchan was part of the relegated Bangkok Glass team, he showed enough form to not only keep his place in the Thai national team squad for the AFC Asia cup, but become one of the key players for the War Elephants. This included scoring the equaliser for Thailand against the UAE which secured their passage to the knockout rounds.
Thitipan Puangchan will now join compatriots Chanathip Songkrasin and Theerathon Bunmathan who play for Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo and Yokohama F. Marinos respectfully in the J League.
