Current Thai League champions Buiram United have last week announced the signing of Brazilian forward Bruno Mezenga. The 30 year old last played for Associação Desportiva São Caetano who play in the Campeonato Paulista.
Mezenga started his career in the Flamengo youth ranks before making a name of himself in Turkey where he had prolific spells for Akhisar Belediyespor and Eskişehirspor from 2012 to 2018.
Bruno Mezenga looks to be coming in as a replacement for ex-Premier League striker Modibo Maïga who was released last month after showing poor fitness and form. Mezenga will look to hit the ground running and form an effective striker partnership with countrymen Pedro Júnior, who has been leading the line for most of the season as Buriram United look to reclaim the Thai League championship.
