Sukhothai FC have announced the signing of Montenegrin forward Petar Orlandić.
The 28 year-old last played for Malta side Birkirkara FC, helping them finish 4th in the Maltese Premier League playing 5 games and scoring 2 goals.
The most notable spell of Petar Orlandić’s career so far is playing for Red Star Belgrade between 2015 and 2017 helping the club to two Serbian SuperLiga titles playing 30 games and scoring 14 goals. During this time Petar Orlandić formed a notable partnership with Serbian Eintracht Frankfurt and striker Luka Jović.
After leaving Red Star Belgrade in 2017, Orlandić has had unsuccessful spells at Portuguese club CF União, Chinese League 2 club Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard FC and Maltese club Birkirkara FC playing a total of 15 games scoring 4 goals. Petar Orlandić will be hoping that a fresh start in the Thai league with Sukhothai FC will help him reignite the form that he had earlier in his career.
